DEVELOP Phase Samples
After the learning DESIGN has been approved, it's time to DEVELOP the learning resources. It is recommended that prototypes and templates be created and approved before creating multiple courses to avoid rework and create consistent content.
There are many different styles of course presentations. This simple example, of a PPT slides with Instructor Notes is ideal for rapid content development like on system implementations, where content is changing right up until training delivery begins, and version control is an issue. This one file serves as the slides for sharing in an ILT or VILT class offering, the slides notes serve as the Instructor Notes and the Slides printed WITHOUT the Notes can serve as a participant handout, when needed.
This template was created in PPT to match a corresponding Lectora template designed to help less experienced e-learning developers created e-learning.
Regardless of format, a good storyboard describes slide design and interactions well enough that Reviewers can understand and approve as well as the technical e-learning developers who need to build the e-learning in the e-learning development software.
This is a sample of an e-learning PPT storyboard for a process overview course.
The storyboard above was used to create a course in RISE 360. The LMS and web output files are not compatible with this website tool, but the pdf output is attached for your review. Arrangements can be made to get access to the files if needed.
